Greetings, dear readers! We are Oleksandr and Anastasia, and today, we are thrilled to share our creative journey with you. For nearly two years, our family has been on a mission to breathe new life into old fabrics, transforming them into exquisite works of art.
In our creations, you'll discover echoes of a bygone era, reminiscent of a time when every home boasted deer or enchanting patterns adorning the walls, plush tablecloths gracing the tables, and handwoven carpets telling tales of tapestries. Our inspiration draws heavily from nature, a connection that's becoming increasingly challenging in today's fast-paced world. Regrettably, the understanding of this profound connection is not as widespread as we would hope.
What sets our work apart is not just the sheer beauty of the clothes but their comfort and functionality. We firmly believe that any fabric, even an unexpected one like a coffee bag (spoiler alert!), can be transformed into something new and captivating.
Navigating the complexities of creation, material selection, and presentation implementation is a challenge we gladly embrace. Our commitment to using fabrics that could have been crafted 20-100 years ago ensures that our garments carry a timeless quality – built to last for generations with proper care. However, we recognize that our unique style may not resonate with everyone. It's disheartening at times, but we find solace in the fact that those for whom we create our pieces understand and appreciate the artistry behind each stitch.
While we keep certain aspects, like the creation process, under wraps as our little secret, we want you to know that every piece we make holds a story. Each thread tells a tale of history, craftsmanship, and a deep connection to the past.
One garment, in particular, holds a special place in my heart – a jacket created in memory of Mother. Someday, the time will come when I'll part with it, but until then, it remains a cherished symbol of love and remembrance.
